One of my favorite places. The art work is awesome. The staff are always friendly.
Takes about an hour plus to get thru. If you like western american cowboy and indian art by some of the most renowned artists, this is the place to go.
The exterior of the building is beautiful, and inside is a small but good collection of mostly southwestern US art works. Do get the combo ticket that includes the Glass Museum. There is a free shuttle that runs from here to the Glass museum, market street downtown, and the (free) parking lots and Welcome Center near the Glass Museum.

The Rockwell is an excellent small Museum dedicated to the art of the Western U.S., including works by native Americans. Housed in Corning's Romanesque revival former City Hall, it has a large gift shop and small special exhibition gallery, in addition to a roof top terrace, but no food service except during special events.
